Pause a Canva plan
If you’re subscribed to a monthly or annual plan, you can pause it for three months instead of cancelling it. If you’re on an annual plan, you can pause it if there are less than two months until your plan renews. We’ll send you email reminders before it resumes.

Pause your Canva plan
Pausing a plan isn’t available from the iOS App Store. You can only cancel a Canva plan from the App Store.
- Make sure you're logged in to the correct Canva account or team.
- On the homepage, select your account profile to open the menu.
- Select Settings.
- Go to Billing.
- For your plan, select Cancel plan.
- Select Continue cancellation.
- On the next screen, select I want to pause my subscription, then select Continue cancellation.
- Select Pause for 3 months to confirm.
The pause begins when your current billing period ends. Your plan will then automatically resume after three months.
What happens when I pause my plan?
When you pause your plan, future payments are temporarily put on hold. You’ll also lose access to premium features, but you can resume your plan at any time.
You’ll still have free access to Affinity through your Canva account, but any additional features included in your plan will also be paused.
